On Tuesday, August 27th, 2024, the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit and Warrants Apprehension Unit completed an undercover investigation geared towards combating the illegal solicitation of sexual acts at massage parlors within Charlotte County.
The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office has received complaints of illegal prostitution going on at New Island Spa, 3005 Caring Way, Port Charlotte, Florida. During this investigation, (Zhengxia Sun) 09-22-1975 agreed to perform sexual acts with an undercover Detective in exchange for $100.00 in cash. Sun was later placed under arrest for Solicitation of Prostitution.
