Search Warrant on Dulzura Street Leads to Multiple Arrests

On Wednesday, May 22, 2019 the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit conducted a search warrant at 6502 Dulzura Street located in Englewood, Florida. Harvesting Palmetto Berries Requires a Permit; Violators Face Misdemeanor Charges

Harvesting saw palmetto berries in Florida requires a permit from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. This permit requirement went into effect last July, but there have been some changes since we last blogged about the requirements.
