A suspect wanted on domestic violence charges stemming from an incident on March 21 was arrested Tuesday afternoon after a search involving Aviation and K9 Units. Christopher Cooper (DOB 10/6/83) was arrested after a K9 track led to the area he was hiding and he was located in a tree. In addition to the original Domestic Battery charge, he was additionally charged with Resisting an Officer Without Violence and Violation of Probation (Sarasota County).
