Two previously convicted felons were arrested for a multitude of charges ranging from violation of probation to trafficking heroin. Shayne Boomhower (09/04/1986) and passenger John Ohle (04/08/1980) were taken into custody during a traffic stop on December 30, 2019.

While conducting the traffic stop, a Narcotics Detective observed numerous syringes throughout the vehicle with one loaded with Fentanyl. Additionally, a bag containing white pills, brass knuckles, and a digital scale were found inside the vehicle.
After Boomhower stated he had nothing on his person. Ohle advised this was false. The detective advised Boomhower that if he had any narcotics concealed to hand it over prior to entering the jail. At this time, a plastic baggie fell from his left pant leg which contained two separate bags that held Methamphetamine and the other Heroin.
“Our Narcotics Unit works diligently to remove drugs off the streets of our community,” states Sheriff Bill Prummell. “
Both Boomhower and Ohle were arrested and transported to the Charlotte County Jail on the following charges.
