On May 8, 2020, the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by Sunseekers Resort reporting that an individual had presented himself to a member of the public as a representative of the Sunseekers Resort. This occurred during a potential real estate purchase. This person presented a business card containing the Sunseekers Resort logo and contact
information. Sunseekers Resort has advised that this subject is not and has never been an employee or representative of the Sunseekers Resort. A portion of the contact information was determined to be fraudulent and not connected to Sunseekers Resort. If you have had contact with or conducted any business with anyone who was presenting himself as a representative of Sunseekers Resort in any capacity involving real estate, please contact Detective Freytag with the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office Economic Crime Unit at 941-639-2101.
