Catholic school vandal identified

Charlotte County, FL-

On June 3, 2021, we asked the community for assistance in identifying a suspect who was captured on surveillance vandalizing a local church on May 31, 2021.

Clayton M. Lynch (05/06/1990)

The subject rode a skateboard onto the property of a local Catholic school and caused approximately $3,500 in damages. The individual appeared to be a white male with a large tattoo across his upper back and another tattoo on his upper chest.

Thanks to community members and detective follow through, the suspect has been positively identified as Clayton M. Lynch (05/06/1990) of Port Charlotte. Lynch was arrested on June 10, 2021, on a felony charge of Criminal Mischief to Church Synagogue Mosque or Religious Article.

Lynch remains at the Charlotte County Jail.
