A Letter From Sheriff Bill Prummell
“Dear Friends and Neighbors,
As your Sheriff, I am honored to serve a community that values courage, service, and the safety of our families. As we have settled into our new home at the CCSO Administration Building, I am so appreciative of the support our community has given throughout this process. Today, I am asking for your assistance in creating a lasting Law Enforcement Memorial in our Administration courtyard to honor the men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our community.
This memorial will be more than a monument. It will be a place where families, fellow deputies, and members of our community can come together to remember those who gave their lives protecting others. It will also serve as a reminder to future generations of the courage, dedication, and selflessness demonstrated by these heroes.
The construction of this memorial is a community effort, and we are seeking donations from individuals, families, businesses, civic organizations, and others who would like to help make this tribute a reality. Every contribution, regardless of size, will make a difference.
Your donation will help support the costs of construction, landscaping, engraving, lighting, and other memorial expenses. Those who wish to make a larger contribution or establish a memorial sponsorship may also have opportunities to be recognized as part of this important project.
We have arranged for all monetary donations for this project to be made tax-deductible by utilizing the CCSO’s Employee Assistance Fund – a 501(c)3 organization. While every gift is appreciated, any donation we receive in excess of $10,000 will be recognized by having their name included on a special plaque at the memorial site.
I hope you will consider joining us in preserving the memory of those who served our community with honor. Together, we can create a place that ensures their names and sacrifices will never be forgotten.
