Search Warrant Results in Five Arrests

The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit served a search warrant on a residence in Port Charlotte on Friday, resulting in the arrest of five occupants on various drug charges. The residence at 18542 Satsuma Avenue was the subject of several complaints and tips from members of the neighborhood in reference to nuisance behavior and suspected drug activity, which led to the investigation by detectives. Deputies with road patrol also documented several responded to the home for disturbances.

During a search of the residence Methamphetamine, Morphine, Suboxone, Buprenorphine and Marijuana were located, along with various items used for the packaging of drugs for sale. Used needles were also strewn about the residence.

All arrested suspects were read their Miranda Warnings and given the opportunity to cooperate and provide information that would help with the investigation. None of the parties wished to cooperate with law enforcement.
