Christine Flahive – Missing since January 4, 1995; Cold Case Unit Actively Investigating Incident as a Homicide

As we approach the anniversary of the disappearance of Christine Muriel Flahive, the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in resolving this case. Coming forward with any information, no matter how small it may seem, could prove to be valuable.

On January 4, 1995, Christine Flahive, a 42 year old resident of Punta Gorda, left her home on a bicycle during the late afternoon hours and was never seen again by her family. Her father contacted the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office the following day to report her missing.

Christine Flahive is described at the time she went missing as 5′ 6″, 140 pounds, with strawberry blonde hair (wavy) and brown eyes. Christine is known to have frequented local bars and restaurants in Punta Gorda and the surrounding area.

You can also contact Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers, remain anonymous, and be eligible for a cash reward if your information leads to the resolution of this case.

Christine Flahive has now been missing for 24 years. The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information related to this case to come forward. During regular business hours, contact 941-575-5361. After hours, contact 941-639-2101.
