Detectives with the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office are seeking the public’s assistance identifying the black males in these photos. They are wanted for questioning for their involvement in a robbery that occurred at the Pilot Gas Station located at 26505 Jones Loop Road in Punta Gorda.
UPDATE 6/11: One of the unknown black male suspects appears to shows symptoms of Vitiligo, based on a noticeable discoloration of skin pigmentation.
At approximately 2:30am this morning, the black males depicted in these photos entered the Pilot station. The male in the long sleeve white hoodie sweatshirt went behind the counter and began loading cartons of Marlboro cigarettes into a large plastic garbage bag. When the cashier began walking back towards the counter, the male subject in the dark t-shirt grabbed her, placed his hand over her mouth, and advised her to “shut up and stay quiet”. The employee was able to break free and all suspects exited the store.

They arrived and departed in the newer model white Dodge pick up truck pictured here.
The truck was last observed headed towards I-75. The same suspects were observed on surveillance at the Walmart on Taylor Road about 15 minutes earlier, attempting to distract the cashier near the cigarette aisle. They were unsuccessful in this attempt.
Anyone with information on these incidents is encouraged to contact the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office or Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers.
