The men and women who serve in the Armed Forces of this great nation deserve our collective respect. This is true each and every day, but especially so on Veterans Day. A single day is not enough to show these incredible people how much we appreciate their efforts and sacrifices.
The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office currently employs 130 individuals who have served or are still serving. What makes them special is their character and their moral compass. They are reliable, mission-oriented, and have a passion for putting the greater good above everything else. They truly define the core values of this agency: Integrity – Professionalism – Trust, and set an example for everyone with whom they work.
I want to thank the Veterans here specifically, but I also want to extend my gratitude to all who have taken an oath to protect this country. You are all an inspiration, and you deserve our respect and admiration.
