Man Sells Over 500 Pills to Undercover Detectives

June 3, 2026 – Charlotte County, FL

A Charlotte County man was arrested after selling more than 500 pills and cocaine to undercover deputies.

The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit received multiple tips stating that a man by the name of Christopher Michael Scalisi (12/6/1972) was dealing narcotics throughout Charlotte County. With that information, CCSO Narcotics Unit detectives started an investigation, identifying Scalisi and purchasing drugs directly from him. In these deals, detectives were able to purchase Cocaine, Xanax/Alprazolam pills, and Amphetamine pills throughout the month of May on several occasions.

At the conclusion of this investigation, detectives purchased a total of 7.8 grams of cocaine, 10 Xanax/Alprazolam 2mg (3.4 grams) pills, and 563 Amphetamine 30mg (221.9 grams) pills. Scalisi was booked into the Charlotte County Jail for the following charges: 

• Sale & Delivery of Cocaine within 1,000 Feet of a Park
• Possession of Cocaine with the Intent to Sell within 1,000 Feet of a Park
• Sale & Delivery of Xanax/Alprazolam
• Possession of Xanax/Alprazolam with the Intent to Sell
• Trafficking Amphetamine over 14 grams (x2)
• Possession of Amphetamine with the Intent to Sell within 1,000 Feet of a Park (x2)
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (x3)

Scalisi was already out on bond on for other narcotics related charges. Scalisi is being held at the Charlotte County Jail on $358,000 bond for the new charges, but bond has been revoked on the prior charges.
