On November 25, 2019, members of the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office executed a lawful search warrant at 23332 Olean Blvd., Port Charlotte, FL for illegal narcotics activity.

Located within the dwelling were the targets of the investigation, Edward D. Breneman, dob 8-5-1981 and Sarah R. Weaver, dob 3-19-1986. Both were subsequently arrested and transported to the County Jail.
After a comprehensive search of the home, 3.5 grams of Methamphetamine and 3 pills of what was determined to be Buprenorphine Hydrochloride. Also located was assorted drug paraphernalia to include a digital scale, a drug ledger and pyrex smoking pipes.

Breneman was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Weaver of charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Buprenorphine Hydrochloride) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Sheriff Bill Prummell stated, “The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office will continue to take a strong stance against illegal narcotics use and sales. Should anyone wish to receive help with their additions, I asked that they call 941-639–2101”
