The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office encourages you to be safe when conducting business transactions resulting from online commerce by choosing safe areas to meet for the exchange of goods and money.  Each of our District Offices has as E-Commerce Exchange Safe Zone for customers meeting with individuals to transact business resulting from online deals. 

Traffic Stop Leads to Discovery of Drugs and a Firearm; Driver Arrested

The driver of a vehicle stopped for a routine traffic violation Monday evening is now in the Charlotte County Jail after deputies discovered he was carrying a concealed weapon without a license and was also in possession of illegal drugs. Ryan Tibor Suta (12/19/81) is currently at the Charlotte County Jail with no bond, facing multiple felony charges.
